Somethings wrong when a 600sq ft cell struggles to stay under 50% humidity. esp when there are 2 dehumidifiers running in it.

the issue is the design of the building. the garages bellow this side have 0 climate control, no heating cooling or dehumidification. infact the one thats at the moment mine had black mold growing up the back wall on moving in. which isnt a surprise because the situation is made worse by lockers installed in the back.

While ...in the early people who claim to own me deny the mold caused by their decisions with their house when i was 14...phase; i was reading everything I could on mold. I was also with the mold pro during his inspection.

One of the contributing factors is poor air flow.partly because even with moisture, mold doesnt just poof into existence. one of the ways it gets into places is floating on the breeze. if theres always a breeze it might float right back out.

who ever built the A/B lockers in each of the normally sublet 2 car garages bellow each unit was possibly considering this. about a foot at the top is like chicken wire up to the ceiling. the rest is osb and the main issue is that vent is next to worthless when both the double car width garage door and door to building are closed.

worse yet, because the hallway on the other side of that wall is heated this becomes a almost always above freezing if only by a little condensation point.

even worse yet, one such garage is under the floor of the bed im typing this on and same thing applies.

mold pros and internet advice by them will generally consist of "look for mold at cold condensing points"

which inside would be like a kitchen sinks pipes in a cupboard that the other side of the wall is exterior. ever noticed condensation on the drainpipe? there you go.

this is all top of my head writing so i wont try to fully science it out but as it applies to this apt buildings design, moisture from snow, rain or even in the air is entering every time the 1st floor (ground floor for those ive noticed viewing this from Europe or elsewhere(Russia too)...also the hover bike looks SWEET
anyway, any time garage door to outside is opened moisture comes in. even if its snow the garage tends to get above freezing any day its well bellow but no wind or anyway its near freezing even with the wind.

in other words there is always water vapor entering and being trapped. its likely to condense on the inside of the warm walls and or floor that borders the uncontrolled garage space.

i started writing this though because i was considering sleep but realized its humid as hell in here and i once again have to empty two full dehumidifier tanks. really wishing I had opted with the ones that have a pump, a garden hose to the bath tub would make this a lot less of a ball and chain.
